Valentines Day and Carnival Week: "Full Breath, Open Heart"
One Awareness Through Movement approach stress release is to support the stress so firmly and gently that it has to release.
This week we pillow our hearts in an open chest with our breath. This step-by-step release of the front, back, top, bottom, sides and center of the chest leaves you deeply relaxed, in that parasympathetic state, with your heart "floating" (poetically) at your center.
This is a lie on your back lesson. Have any padding you might want for your low back or head, and a blankie and heavy socks if you tend to get cold.
