Welcome! I’m Jacki Katzman, Your Movement Mentor.
I am a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner® offering lessons to groups and soloists in New Hampshire's North Country and Vermont's Northeast Kingdom. I earned my certification with Alan Questrel in Santa Fe, NM. I am also a certified Healing Tao Associate Teacher, a brown belt in Kempo Karate, a Reiki Level 3 Practitioner, an MBA and a yoga student at Iyengar Yoga North.
The Feldenkrais Method® is grounded in Judo, neurophysiology, mechanical engineering, and fundamental belief that we can all continually learn, flex and grow. As an nonathletic kid, I had no clue how to move wisely. Again and again, I came way too close to injuring myself as, in angry frustration, I hit against my ingrained habits. Awareness Through Movement® gave me a whole body approach to learning. My yoga and chi kung, swimming and skiing, playing reggae bass and managing family dynamics are all becoming more graceful as I get deeper into the Method. This practice requires full engagement. But the results for the curious, those willing to start where they are and slow down, are profound. It's my honor and pleasure to share The Feldenkrais Method with brethren and sistren who yearn to do what they love - better.
A former high tech public relations consultant, biotech marketing analyst, professional gardener and one-time molecular biology lab tech, I now direct my passion towards sharing the Feldenkrais Method® with fellow musicians, athletes, artists, writers and people who intend to keep growing, creating and learning until their last breath.
