Opening to Fresh Perspectives - Awareness in the Sanctuary - Inside Out Eyes

Opening to Fresh Perspectives - Close your Eyes to Open

“If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” Wayne Dyer

Recent research indicates that the more sensitive we are to our interoceptive signals, we not only contribute to own-body perception and self-consciousness, but also to our capacity for empathy.

We will be going deep inside to look out from inside the skull to locate the eyes in the head and in space.

Using the tongue as a pointer and sensor, experience where, exactly, the eyes rest in the skull. It’s a strange and powerful experience. It’s an experience called “interoception”: any of the senses that detect conditions within the body.

Coming from deep inner space outward is vision from a different angle. And maybe a new route to compassion.

Attend via Zoom or join your vaccinated friends in the BHC Sanctuary.
