Solid Gold - The ASPNC 2020-21 ATeam Finishes with Class

It it too hard to say bon voyage to the ASPNC ATeam, this year’s batch of delightful volunteers. Their contracts end all too soon, and we have to send them on their way with admiration and delight.

Mary, Jakob, Natasha and Tim have been enthusiastic ATM students, who threw their curiosity and creativity into the project. They showed up through Covid, all the weather New Hampshire could throw at them. And always cheerful, intelligent and engaged.

Some of them are off to reunite with family domestic and abroad. The others are staying close to friends and family, and will be around next year as ‘regular’ volunteers. Each has a unique leadership style that matured over their AmeriCorps volunteer terms.

Thanks to their work, our “Awareness Through Movement: Adaptive Athlete Edition” presentation at the Move Better, Feel Better 2021 Feldenkrais Awareness Summit earned ASPNC over $400 in direct donations and priceless exposure for the adaptive sports community.

They made my year.

The mentor in me wants to keep them in my sights for as long as possible. I will not be losing their email addresses!
